Terms and Conditions

for Reiki Sessions provided by Salla Korvenoja, Reiki Master Practitioner

1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all agreements between Salla Korvenoja (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”) and the client (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) in relation to Reiki sessions and related services.

2. Description of Services
The Provider offers Reiki sessions aimed at promoting overall well-being, activating the body’s own self-healing abilities, and restoring energetic balance. The services offered are not medical treatments and are intended to support relaxation and overall well-being, not to diagnose or cure physical or mental health conditions.

The Provider makes no promises of healing or guarantees for the course of the sessions.

Neither diagnoses nor treatments for specific health problems are carried out. The Provider does not prescribe or administer medication. The continuation of existing medical treatments or the continued use of medication prescribed by conventional medicine and/or alternative practitioners (Heilpraktiker) is expressly recommended. The client is responsible for his/her/their own state of health and medical care and its continuation. The offers serve to stimulate the body's self-healing powers and spiritual development.

Reiki serves to activate the body's self-healing powers and does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a doctor or alternative practitioner (Heilpraktiker). No diagnoses, therapies or treatments in the medical sense are carried out or any other form of medicine is practiced in the legal sense. The Provider does not need to have any medical knowledge or skills, as no medical or alternative treatment is carried out.

The sessions cannot replace medical treatment or treatment by alternative practitioners. The Provider considers cooperation with doctors, alternative practitioners (Heilpraktiker) and other therapists to be very important. Therefore, ongoing treatment should not be interrupted or terminated, and treatment that is required in the future should not be postponed or omitted altogether. The responsibility for decisions lies entirely with the client.

No promises are made to the client that a healing will take place. It is his/her/their free responsibility and decision to continue or terminate visits to the Reiki practitioner. Before a session, the client is informed about what to expect during the sessions and also about how the fee is structured and calculated.

Reiki is not a medical treatment and accordingly it does not cure specific symptoms or replace drug treatments or similar medical therapies. Nevertheless, many report "miracle cures" and sudden changes in well-being after just one session. The provider advises the clients to let go of any expectations of results and to give the frequencies space to work.

3. Appointment Scheduling and Treatment
a) The Client can schedule an appointment for a Reiki treatment via the online booking system provided by the Provider.
b) Appointments are binding, and the Provider commits to providing the agreed treatment at the scheduled time. The Client is expected to arrive punctually.

4. Fees and Payment Terms
a) The fees for Reiki treatments are specified on the Provider’s website or in a personal offer provided to the Client.
b) Payments are due either in advance or immediately after the treatment. The Provider accepts cash and bank transfer.
c) The Provider reserves the right to adjust fees, with prior notice to the Client.

5. Cancellation Policy
a) The Client may cancel an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session.
b) For cancellations made between less than 24 hours before the scheduled session a cancellation fee of 50% of the session price will be charged.
c) In the event of a no-show, where the client misses the appointment without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.
d) The Provider reserves the right to cancel appointments due to important reasons (e.g., illness or unforeseen circumstances). In such cases, the Client will be notified promptly, and a new appointment will be offered.

6. Liability
Reiki Sessions are not a substitute for medical treatment and should not be used to replace consultations with a doctor or licensed health professional. Clients should seek medical advice for any health-related issues.

7. Confidentiality
The Provider is committed to treating all personal information provided by the Client with the utmost confidentiality. No data will be shared with third parties without the Client’s explicit consent, except as required by law.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
a) These Terms and Conditions are governed by German law.
b) The jurisdiction for any legal disputes is the location of the Provider’s business, unless otherwise agreed upon.

9. Final Provisions
a) If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
b) Any changes to these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.
